Happy Birthday Bradly Dean.....

Well, between getting ready for the baby and finishing up school I have been really busy.  I feel like I'm neglecting the card's.  Luckly my father-in-law's birthday was this week and I have a card workshop on Saturday that I actually got to sit down and make a card.  The stamps come from Just Rite and I used Copic Markers to color the girl!  He sure liked the girl!!  HEHE

Take 6

Wow!!!!  It's been a long time since I've posted on here.  I guess with school starting that shows how much more busy I am.  I have not come to the conclusion that at night time when I lay awake I'm going to start getting up and making cards instead of laying in bed getting annoyed!  LOL  Here are the cards I made for the 6 card workshop this last week.  Hope you enjoy!  All materials are from Close to my Heart!

Christmas Tag

It is getting close to that time of year and I got some new Christmas stamp sets.  I'm also getting ready for a Christmas Tag Swap at the end of September.  Not for sure if I'm really impressed with this card, but it's a rough draft.  Everything is from Close to my Heart.

Close up of the glitter!

Princess Birthday Card

I created this card for a very special birthday girl.  The stamp set is from Close to my Heart and it's called the Little Princess.  The ribbon I used was a very faint pink that just added a little touch to the card along with the flower.  Enjoy!

Booooo Halloween!!!

I got my new stamps in and just playing around with them!  Not for sure if I like how this card turned out, but it works.  I used two different stamp sets from Close to my Heart.  The first one was The Boo Crew and the second one is Spook Alley.  They both have numerous of options and great ideas for Halloween Cards!  I stamped the boarder using the black from Close to my Heart and the pumpkins are Autumn Terracotta.  I colored the boarder with Close to my Heart markers.

Cards From my Grand Opening!

Sorry it's taking me awhile to get the cards up we made at my grand opening for Close to my Heart!  It was lots of fun and can't wait to do it again!

This card was made with the Many Thanks stamp collection!  It's perfect for Fall!  The paper is from My Reflections Twitterpated.  I was very impressed with the paper on how it had two sides plus it
came with matching card stock! The stamp pads were Chocolate and Sorbet.  I distressed around the edge of the card, the white card stock and the Twitterpated paper.  I have also used the Chocolate ink to distress the buttons!

This card comes from the July stamp of the month set!  I just loved the little hedge!  I used Sorbet to distress the outside of the card.  I used colored pencils to color the little hedge guy!  This stamp set had many different stamps and sayings to go along with it!  It's a must have!

Birthday Girl

I was a lucky one and got this free image from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I created this card for a little girls birthday.  I used spellbinders to cut out the image and the mat.  I also used copic markers to color the little girl.  Inside I used Just Rite stamp set!

Book Corner

I found this tutorial at Splitcoaststampers and thought I would give it a try. I'm always folding the corner of the pages in my book when I read at night and I thought this was a cute idea.  This little bookmark hooks right to the corner of your page.  Pretty neat!  It was kind of tricky at first making sure the corners were going to line up.  I think in the end I liked how it turned out.  I used Close to my Heart Stamps and also the paper comes from Close to my Heart.  I distressed around the edges to break up the white.  I colored the little animal with copic markers.  This was my first go around with this and plan to make more.

Howdy Neighbor!

These stamps from Close to my Heart and just so fun to play with!  I really love this stamp set.  There are so many different choices with different animals and sayings!  I used copic markers to color the barn and the cow.  I used Close to my Heart Chocolate ink to stamp the barn, saying and the cow.

Princess Card

This is my first card making with my new Close to my Heart stamps.  I was so excited! I am entering this card in the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge.  I used American Crafts paper and of course to color the little girl I used Copic markers!  I wanted to put little crowns on the side of the card, but couldn't find the right size crown, so I used pearls instead.  I'm very happy with the way this card turned out!

Peyton's Scrapbook

I decided to enter some pages on to Emma's Thursday Challenge.  Taking pictures of a 12 x 12 scrapbook page can be pretty tricky.  I used my Cricut a lot while working on his scrapbook page, because all the different cartridges had a lot of cute images. Hope you enjoy!

Sending you Sunshine and Hugs

With this card I decided to do a little different than your standard card.  I started out with a sheet of card stock that was 12 inches long and cut it so it was 12 x 6.  Then I measured about 2.5 inches in on each side of the card to make the flaps.  I stamped the saying using Memento Rich Cocoa and I used Memento Black for the girl inside the card.  I used Copic markers to color the girl. The stamp came from Sarah Kay. I couldn't decided if I wanted a flower on the outside of the card or if it was to much.  Hope you enjoy!  Happy Crafting!
