It's not perfect, but I'm sure as I go along with another one.....it can only get better. Here are the pictures....I just finished and it's still wet. I found Mod Podge works best to keep it in place.</p><p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-MVgjqPrQIfI/U1XTHa8RXRI/AAAAAAAABR8/2XI-gPYdgi0/s588/Photo%25252020140421212523.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-MVgjqPrQIfI/U1XTHa8RXRI/AAAAAAAABR8/2XI-gPYdgi0/s500/Photo%25252020140421212523.jpg" id="blogsy-1398133569841.7427" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="500" height="489"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-PDPzSufFkrc/U1XTKf5dxtI/AAAAAAAABSE/QgxvlO_tFzc/s702/Photo%25252020140421212523.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-PDPzSufFkrc/U1XTKf5dxtI/AAAAAAAABSE/QgxvlO_tFzc/s500/Photo%25252020140421212523.jpg" id="blogsy-1398133569856.6975" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="500" height="527"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-bNFYC_b6mIY/U1XTN6_1IiI/AAAAAAAABSM/183fW-itLX4/s720/Photo%25252020140421212523.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-bNFYC_b6mIY/U1XTN6_1IiI/AAAAAAAABSM/183fW-itLX4/s500/Photo%25252020140421212523.jpg" id="blogsy-1398133569845.453" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="500" height="569"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-p8l9XTjuz5w/U1XTP1z2NlI/AAAAAAAABSU/w9S9JwkXd6E/s636/Photo%25252020140421212523.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-p8l9XTjuz5w/U1XTP1z2NlI/AAAAAAAABSU/w9S9JwkXd6E/s500/Photo%25252020140421212523.jpg" id="blogsy-1398133569825.41" class="aligncenter" width="500" height="491" alt=""></a></div><p style="text-align: center;"> </p><p style="text-align: center;">Happy Crafting</p><p style="text-align: center;">Shannon </p><p> </p>Shannon Beckhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07643293716712560625noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3140819493744765854.post-50658253432007460442014-03-08T21:24:00.001-06:002014-03-08T21:24:19.019-06:00Block Card<p> I seen this new tutorial on Splitcoasters and had to try it. I've been looking for different things to make for a craft booth that I want to attend this summer and for my etsy website. </p><p>I only bought one clipboard from Walmart, because I wasn't quite sure of what I was getting myself into. I had my husband help me make a template for the clipboard. I've seen where they have just cut a rectangle around the clip and the. The ribbon hid the cut, but I'm on the anal side and wanted it to wrap around the clip.</p><p> I went to the local craft store in town and bought some paper and mod podge. </p><p>When I started, I painted the entire board and then tried to slide the paper up. That did not work very well. Next time I will slide the paper under the clip and then put on the mod podge. Once I had painted underneath the board, I painted the top of the paper to make it stronger. I let it dry for quite awhile. Then I started the sanding process. I sanded around the sides of the board to make it nice and smooth and also to get the extra paper off. Here is what it looks like so far.</p><p> </p><div class="separator" style="text-align: center; clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-hs26pDYFHis/Uwq8HpAQA_I/AAAAAAAABL8/d765gjc_ZvM/s707/Photo%252520Feb%25252023%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525207%25253A55%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-hs26pDYFHis/Uwq8HpAQA_I/AAAAAAAABL8/d765gjc_ZvM/s500/Photo%252520Feb%25252023%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525207%25253A55%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1393982587423.0986" class="alignnone" width="500" height="447" alt=""></a></div><div class="separator" style="text-align: center; clear: both;">You can see here that the paper hangs over the side.</div><div class="separator" style="text-align: center; clear: both;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-ERSSFfxp4mM/Uwq8KfokWUI/AAAAAAAABME/PK5hQL_2dic/s674/Photo%252520Feb%25252023%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525207%25253A55%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-ERSSFfxp4mM/Uwq8KfokWUI/AAAAAAAABME/PK5hQL_2dic/s500/Photo%252520Feb%25252023%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525207%25253A55%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1393982587445.5051" class="aligncenter" width="500" height="434" alt=""></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;">Once the mod podge dried, I started sanding. So....I went online and found a tutorial on how to make one. In the process of making it and my husband helped me, there was probably a few choice words said. I worked on this at night after Peyton went to bed. Let's just say Peyton loves it and I'm glad I made it. The instructions that I found said to use fleece on the top and inside of the sleeping bag. Peyton is obsessed with Thomas the Train and the only fabric I could find was the fabric that wasn't fleece. I did put fleece inside. So, with that said, three broken needles and a broken machine...I had to turn to my wonderful neighbor to help me sew the bottom shut and one my sewing along the side. It probably wouldn't have been such a panic mode if Peyton's birthday wasn't the next day. So, without further due here it is.......</p><p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-4_GRf9_bffI/UvmZ17oUR-I/AAAAAAAABJk/Fkt52mxDhv8/s960/Photo%252520Feb%2525205%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525206%25253A46%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-4_GRf9_bffI/UvmZ17oUR-I/AAAAAAAABJk/Fkt52mxDhv8/s500/Photo%252520Feb%2525205%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525206%25253A46%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1392089621406.7092" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="232"></a></div><p> </p><p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-yX8ztV1jqXA/UvmZ7X-eiRI/AAAAAAAABJs/M9X8me5Bla0/s813/Photo%252520Feb%2525205%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525206%25253A46%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-yX8ztV1jqXA/UvmZ7X-eiRI/AAAAAAAABJs/M9X8me5Bla0/s500/Photo%252520Feb%2525205%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525206%25253A46%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1392089621424.9097" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="594"></a></div><p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-rxmMrf9q7O8/UvmaA5mFd0I/AAAAAAAABJ0/IMi9bHOmBCw/s899/Photo%252520Feb%2525205%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525207%25253A25%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-rxmMrf9q7O8/UvmaA5mFd0I/AAAAAAAABJ0/IMi9bHOmBCw/s500/Photo%252520Feb%2525205%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525207%25253A25%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1392089621483.9429" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="656"></a></div><p> I tried to lay in it, but they kicked me out...lol</p><p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-w1rgEM1n4gs/UvmaFZrm6FI/AAAAAAAABJ8/lQYxmuPlmGQ/s960/Photo%252520Feb%25252010%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525209%25253A18%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-w1rgEM1n4gs/UvmaFZrm6FI/AAAAAAAABJ8/lQYxmuPlmGQ/s500/Photo%252520Feb%25252010%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525209%25253A18%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1392089621429.1235" class="alignnone" width="500" height="667" alt=""></a></div><p> This is how I find him ever night.</p><p> </p><p>You will find the tutorial here: <a href="http://www.theribbonretreat.com/blog/kids-sleeping-bag-tutorial.html" target="_blank" style="line-height: 1.3em;">Kid's Sleeping Bag Tutorial | The Ribbon Retreat Blog</a></p><p> </p>Shannon Beckhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07643293716712560625noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3140819493744765854.post-29236404393616649232014-01-19T18:56:00.001-06:002014-01-19T18:56:18.930-06:00Happy Birthday Holder<p> This year for John's birthday instead of the normal going out and buying something, I wanted to make something. What better place to start searching for something then Pinterest. This project consists of a 6 pack of empty clear bottles. It can be cream soda bottles or hit up your local liquor store and see if they will give you six clear bottles and a holder. Make sure to wash the bottle in hot soapy water and make sure to get the labels off. I left the bottles dry over night.</p>
<p>The first thing I did was buy some spray paint. You can pick pretty much any color you. Just remember if you buy a lighter color you might be putting on more then one coat of paint. Let's take a look..</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-QjT-HXp0CI0/Utxz2MefQ5I/AAAAAAAABIE/3Cziy0SitQA/s470/Photo%252520Jan%25252018%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525205%25253A12%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-QjT-HXp0CI0/Utxz2MefQ5I/AAAAAAAABIE/3Cziy0SitQA/s470/Photo%252520Jan%25252018%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525205%25253A12%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1390179378541.6714" class="alignnone" alt="" width="471" height="374"></a></div>
<p> </p>
<p> Once the box was dry, I begin using tape to decorate the box. You can use tape or you can use scrapbook paper. For my first time, I though I would use the tape.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-5muBKElIx_4/Utxz5RS2xyI/AAAAAAAABIM/R4idtgc6ruI/s907/Photo%252520Jan%25252019%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525208%25253A16%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-5muBKElIx_4/Utxz5RS2xyI/AAAAAAAABIM/R4idtgc6ruI/s500/Photo%252520Jan%25252019%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525208%25253A16%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1390179378478.2751" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="327"></a></div>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-EYmjor38CIM/Utxz79fosEI/AAAAAAAABIU/SzFI5K0ioJ8/s960/Photo%252520Jan%25252019%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525208%25253A17%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-EYmjor38CIM/Utxz79fosEI/AAAAAAAABIU/SzFI5K0ioJ8/s500/Photo%252520Jan%25252019%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525208%25253A17%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1390179378570.5833" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="314"></a></div>
<p> I covered the back and front.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"> </div>
<p> Once I decorated the box I worked on the bottles.</p>
<div class="separator" style="text-align: left; clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-WyX7n3zQbyU/Utxz-eKzeZI/AAAAAAAABIc/ipR3wGW9n_E/s691/Photo%252520Jan%25252019%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525208%25253A41%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-WyX7n3zQbyU/Utxz-eKzeZI/AAAAAAAABIc/ipR3wGW9n_E/s500/Photo%252520Jan%25252019%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525208%25253A41%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1390179378527.488" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="558"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="text-align: left; clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-BvvyOlJz3Yc/Utx0BOI9FoI/AAAAAAAABIk/WYsPStppPBM/s712/Photo%252520Jan%25252019%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525208%25253A42%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-BvvyOlJz3Yc/Utx0BOI9FoI/AAAAAAAABIk/WYsPStppPBM/s500/Photo%252520Jan%25252019%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525208%25253A42%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1390179378562.3193" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="496"></a></div>
<p> </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Next I took the 6 empty bottles and started filling them with things he liked.</p>
<p> </p>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="text-align: left; clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-HScBuOBz47o/Utx0Ea76HQI/AAAAAAAABIs/S34F-stNZms/s811/Photo%252520Jan%25252019%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525204%25253A20%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-HScBuOBz47o/Utx0Ea76HQI/AAAAAAAABIs/S34F-stNZms/s500/Photo%252520Jan%25252019%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525204%25253A20%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1390179378578.9253" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="400"></a></div>
<p> </p>
<p>Then, I moved back to the box and put the label on. Here you can put pretty much anything you want.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-0CyekSnPYtU/Utx0G8N4W7I/AAAAAAAABI0/Zd-AXLQyt08/s894/Photo%252520Jan%25252019%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525204%25253A20%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-0CyekSnPYtU/Utx0G8N4W7I/AAAAAAAABI0/Zd-AXLQyt08/s500/Photo%252520Jan%25252019%25252C%2525202014%25252C%2525204%25253A20%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1390179378523.3499" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="347"></a></div>

I wish they could stay little a and cuddly longer then they do. I was asked to take pictures and video tape parts of the concert. Granted we all know I would have taken pictures. I am sharing with you now first off are the pictures and than I taped two different parts. Hope you enjoy!<br>

So, I am putting a card together for her and an envelope. It's so much easier when you can make your own envelopes and not have the cost of that or worrying about finding the right size. I had this really cute turtle stamp set that we used at a workshop. It had been since 2010 since the workshop. Needless to say, I tore my craft room apart looking for it.</p>
<p>It's been awhile since I've made cards. I have seemed to switch into making gifts, but I still love making cards. This is how this one turned out.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-CiNd6S-b7Y8/Up-9bxMaf_I/AAAAAAAABEc/agzEAvoKo-Y/s803/Photo%252520Dec%2525204%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525205%25253A32%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-CiNd6S-b7Y8/Up-9bxMaf_I/AAAAAAAABEc/agzEAvoKo-Y/s500/Photo%252520Dec%2525204%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525205%25253A32%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1386200463578.777" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="432"></a></div>
<p> Front of the card and the envelope.</p>

<p> Just a little saying inside the card.</p>
<p> </p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Hope you enjoy! Happy Crafting!!!</p>

I'm also trying to come up with many different ideas for a craft fair that I want to be in. I came across the diaper trike and let me tell you after reseraching it, there are many ways you can make these. This was my first time making one, so it wasn't quite perfect, but it did the trick. The supplies you will need are size 1 or 2 diapers, ribbon, rubber bands, baby bottle, receiving blankets, bibs and socks. You can also put a bear on it. I took pictures along the way just to show you how I completed it. The first step was making the wheels. I used 15 diapers for the back wheels and you could techniqually use as many as you want as long as your front tire is bigger. You start out with rolling a diaper as tight as you can and than begin wrapping diapers around it. You will use rubber bands to hold the diapers in place. You will have to use more than one. Don't worry, you will hide the rubber bands with ribbon.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-WP_wMnEkIbk/Up5x34bhk4I/AAAAAAAABDM/EJrde3M3MBM/s720/Photo%252520Nov%25252029%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A33%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-WP_wMnEkIbk/Up5x34bhk4I/AAAAAAAABDM/EJrde3M3MBM/s500/Photo%252520Nov%25252029%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A33%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1386115632878.6333" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="278"></a></div>
<p> Back two tires</p>
<p> Then I moved on to the front tire. I used 20 diapers for the front wheel. Next time, I might experiment with different amounts.</p>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-1-zOPIg4prQ/Up5x5pz6bDI/AAAAAAAABDU/x8eoZ5o-5kQ/s960/Photo%252520Nov%25252029%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A37%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-1-zOPIg4prQ/Up5x5pz6bDI/AAAAAAAABDU/x8eoZ5o-5kQ/s500/Photo%252520Nov%25252029%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A37%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1386115632835.8228" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="191"></a></div>
<p> I covered up the rubber bands with ribbon. I used Scor tape to hold the ribbons down. I've also seen people use safety pins.</p>
<p>Next, I started to put the trike together. You use the receiving blankets to hook the wheels together.</p>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-X6lyLxdrmEA/Up5x7hZKT2I/AAAAAAAABDc/HTezILSBKvw/s703/Photo%252520Nov%25252029%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A47%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-X6lyLxdrmEA/Up5x7hZKT2I/AAAAAAAABDc/HTezILSBKvw/s500/Photo%252520Nov%25252029%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A47%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1386115632863.3694" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="350"></a></div>
<p> You run the blanket through the front tire and than put one side of each of the blanket into the back tires. Now, this is where I used a safety pin to hold the blanket together. Make sure you pull it tight so the tires don't move.</p>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-vaHztbxTww0/Up5x9XmHldI/AAAAAAAABDk/fRkO9xT82yM/s591/Photo%252520Nov%25252029%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A48%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-vaHztbxTww0/Up5x9XmHldI/AAAAAAAABDk/fRkO9xT82yM/s500/Photo%252520Nov%25252029%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A48%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1386115632845.3193" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="353"></a></div>
<p> Front View</p>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-K1K11qzLg3Q/Up5yBEqNHkI/AAAAAAAABDs/HLzsMUAfY9M/s860/Photo%252520Nov%25252029%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A57%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-K1K11qzLg3Q/Up5yBEqNHkI/AAAAAAAABDs/HLzsMUAfY9M/s500/Photo%252520Nov%25252029%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A57%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1386115632905.1545" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="639"></a></div>
<p> You take the next receiving blanket and put it through the front tire. It will stick up in the air. Next, you will slide a bib over to make a front fender. With the other bib, you will snap around the front to make a back fender. Now, put the bottle in between the blanket and than put rubber bands around it to form bunny ears. You will tie ribbon around that to hide the rubber bands.</p>

Let me shared with you it look 3 boxes of stick pins and lots of ribbon...</p>

<p> </p>Shannon Beckhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07643293716712560625noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3140819493744765854.post-72882604771484693182013-11-19T21:35:00.001-06:002013-11-19T21:35:09.645-06:00Ribbon Wreath<p> So I've seen. Lot of different types of ribbon wreaths and I thought I would give it a shot. I know that there is a lot of different ways to make them, but I picked the one that looked the easiest. If your wanting to make this wreath, you will need a foam wreath, lots and lots of ribbon and either stick pins or hot glue. As I go I'm taking some pictures and than when I'm all finished I will post the final account.</p>
<p>First, here is what he wreath looked like when I bought it.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-h2oCUTQks3g/Uowtx8E_MwI/AAAAAAAABBU/0XCl6UdlmyM/s689/Photo%252520Nov%25252019%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525208%25253A23%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-h2oCUTQks3g/Uowtx8E_MwI/AAAAAAAABBU/0XCl6UdlmyM/s500/Photo%252520Nov%25252019%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525208%25253A23%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1384918507530.9814" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="528"></a></div>
<p> </p>
<p>Once you open he wreath, you will need to wrap it with ribbon to cover up the foam. As you go, I put in pins to hold it down. When you start you can either hot glue he ends down or pin them</p>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-P-8I2SUlIMs/Uowt0dUVCZI/AAAAAAAABBc/XgWwVBli2u8/s691/Photo%252520Nov%25252019%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525208%25253A23%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-P-8I2SUlIMs/Uowt0dUVCZI/AAAAAAAABBc/XgWwVBli2u8/s500/Photo%252520Nov%25252019%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525208%25253A23%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1384918507517.0645" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="505"></a></div>
<p> </p>
<p>After you have wrapped the wreath. You need to cut lots and lots of ribbon.</p>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-A2xZvzNNWVk/Uowt3vFBF8I/AAAAAAAABBk/soTn1z6fC8g/s743/Photo%252520Nov%25252019%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525208%25253A23%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-A2xZvzNNWVk/Uowt3vFBF8I/AAAAAAAABBk/soTn1z6fC8g/s500/Photo%252520Nov%25252019%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525208%25253A23%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1384918507588.2075" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="534"></a></div>
<p> </p>
<p>Then you start forming circles with the ribbon and placing them around the wreath in different directions. This is how far I got tonight. Besides it taking lots of ribbon, it will take a lot of pins.</p>
<p> </p>

<p>Updates to come!</p>

After many attempts of different types of tools/storage ideas, I found this system worked the best. I forgot what website I got them off, but will do some research and update. The website has the binders, plastic sleeves and the magnetic sleeves. Here are the pictures of what they looks like. More to come...<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">**** Update:</span> When I got home and settled down I did some research on the Internet as to where you can find these. This is what I found,<a href="http://www.memorymakingcrafts.com/storage-display-kaisercraft-storage-binder-c-16_433.html"> KaiserCraft</a> I have the 8.25 X 6 binder with the 6x4 storage packs. I also bought the magnetic pieces to hold my spellbinders.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-PVqc5zFD6E0/Ulq5AWvcEII/AAAAAAAAA-8/TJGWpyN7q5o/s670/Photo%252520Oct%25252013%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525209%25253A12%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank"><img alt="" class="alignnone" height="285" id="blogsy-1381677319960.2617" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-PVqc5zFD6E0/Ulq5AWvcEII/AAAAAAAAA-8/TJGWpyN7q5o/s500/Photo%252520Oct%25252013%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525209%25253A12%252520AM.jpg" width="500" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
This is what it looks like inside I put two magnetic sheets back to back in each pocket, so depending on the size of your spellbinders you might be able to fit more than one set on a sheet.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">

Here are a few pictures of what it looks like.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-udaeHFGaDNM/UkRV6pxGPlI/AAAAAAAAA6k/QvaxMe7ZR6k/s842/Photo%252520Sep%25252026%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252010%25253A30%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-udaeHFGaDNM/UkRV6pxGPlI/AAAAAAAAA6k/QvaxMe7ZR6k/s500/Photo%252520Sep%25252026%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252010%25253A30%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1380210184981.5818" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="500" height="670"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This is what the outside looks like when it is closed up.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-VozGicCNfXw/UkRV_pggyPI/AAAAAAAAA6s/Sqpcmb71IsU/s698/Photo%252520Sep%25252026%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252010%25253A31%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-VozGicCNfXw/UkRV_pggyPI/AAAAAAAAA6s/Sqpcmb71IsU/s500/Photo%252520Sep%25252026%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252010%25253A31%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1380210185007.5967" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="500" height="403"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This is what it looks like when it is open. As you can see on the left hand side there is a pocket and on the right hand side there is the paper clip, notepad and the pen.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ulwzukDVhF4/UkRWAyVDZ3I/AAAAAAAAA60/5whJHO0fi48/s850/Photo%252520Sep%25252026%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252010%25253A31%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ulwzukDVhF4/UkRWAyVDZ3I/AAAAAAAAA60/5whJHO0fi48/s500/Photo%252520Sep%25252026%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252010%25253A31%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1380210184997.8096" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="500" height="601"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Close up on the paper clip and the pen. Notice that I decorated the inside of the pen too. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">These are great Christmas gifts, just because and a teacher's gift.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><strong>Now, here is the post it note holder<span style="line-height: 1.3em;"> </span></strong></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-trAWD-AjUi8/UkRWByTOl-I/AAAAAAAAA68/9tkdh4lslcQ/s798/Photo%252520Sep%25252026%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252010%25253A31%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-trAWD-AjUi8/UkRWByTOl-I/AAAAAAAAA68/9tkdh4lslcQ/s500/Photo%252520Sep%25252026%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252010%25253A31%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1380210185039.2883" class="aligncenter" width="500" height="597" alt=""></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I used a piece of chip board for the platform and used scrapbook paper to cover the front and back. Than I used a binder clip and deocrated that to hold the post it note paper to the chip board. It's very easy to switch out the post it note pad when you run out of paper.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div>

It's very simple to make. You start out with a piece of chipboard. You can make it any size you want. Next you determine what paper you want to use to cover the chipboard with. I sprayed it with adhesive, but I also put Scor-tape along the edges to hold it. Once that is done, I let it dry for a little bit. Make sure to cover both the front and back of the chipboard. Next, you take a medium size binder clip and cover that with matching or coordinating paper of your choice. You can decorate the clip with ribbon as well. Here is what it looks like.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-6GkPJuATCas/UjuCv5oFmcI/AAAAAAAAA30/Sm-KqcmZXC0/s771/Photo%252520Sep%25252018%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252012%25253A34%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-6GkPJuATCas/UjuCv5oFmcI/AAAAAAAAA30/Sm-KqcmZXC0/s500/Photo%252520Sep%25252018%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252012%25253A34%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1379631823100.875" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="500" height="642"></a>I wouldn't use yellow post it note paper on this pattern paper, but I wanted to show you what it look liked put all together. I am currently waiting for my white post it note paper to come in.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"> </div>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-kPJyiyMuPlA/UjuCxIyGK6I/AAAAAAAAA38/JnNA9UrkQ0k/s712/Photo%252520Sep%25252018%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252012%25253A34%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-kPJyiyMuPlA/UjuCxIyGK6I/AAAAAAAAA38/JnNA9UrkQ0k/s500/Photo%252520Sep%25252018%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252012%25253A34%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1379631823141.2576" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="500" height="578"></a></div>
<p> I would recommend leaving the clips up so that it's not covering your post it note. If you want, you could had a piece of magnetic tape behind it and that way it could stick to the refrigerator. </p>
<p>Another thing I tried was putting a piece of paper on one side and most papers have a coordinating paper on the back and than putting that paper on the back. That gives you an option of what side you want to stick the post it note too.</p>
<p> </p>

With me being a teacher, I had to think of something that maybe I'd like getting too. I saw a great idea on Pinterest and had to try it. So here it is!!!!!</p>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-eLA3zOaL3Uk/UjNSJf8b6TI/AAAAAAAAA0k/rIvI6Bmxlno/s842/Photo%252520Sep%25252013%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252012%25253A26%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-eLA3zOaL3Uk/UjNSJf8b6TI/AAAAAAAAA0k/rIvI6Bmxlno/s500/Photo%252520Sep%25252013%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252012%25253A26%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1379095099018.9587" class="alignnone" alt="" width="434" height="842"></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;">My son thought he needed to help or should I say is watch. LOL</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-pnkbBxoTooY/UjNSOSEr6OI/AAAAAAAAA08/dX4OlhGBWog/s874/Photo%252520Sep%25252013%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252012%25253A28%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-pnkbBxoTooY/UjNSOSEr6OI/AAAAAAAAA08/dX4OlhGBWog/s500/Photo%252520Sep%25252013%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252012%25253A28%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1379095099048.0535" class="alignnone" width="443" height="874" alt=""></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"> </div>
<p> The base is a heavy piece of card stock that I traced a circle on it than covered it with paper. In the middle is a roll of paper towels. You do not glue the towels down until you have the entire cake made. You wrap 6 notebooks around and holding them with a rubber band. I took one notebook wrapped around put the rubber band on it and than just stuck the other notebooks inside. Then I went to the bottom and lined up Grayson's and a glue stick the whole way around. I used the bottles of glue next using the top of my crayons as the base. Remembering to rubber band everything!!! Then I found a cup and cut it down so it wouldn't show and put glue sticks around that. I hot glued that to the top of the paper towels. I rubber banded the glue sticks around the cup. Now, your probably wondering how do I cover the rubber bands up. Well, you get ribbon of your choice and wrap it around the rubber bands and then decorate the rest. Wen your all finished you take the cake and I put pieces of packaging tape down on the circle and stuck it to it. Believe me the teachers will love it. I even had to make one for another teacher. My next try is a crayon wreath. I have already made 2 ruler wreaths. </p>

Sometimes when I take on a challenge it could be a flop at first, but that other times it comes out a success. With this project, I think it's going to be a success! I'm also in the process of putting together a store on etsy website to sell some of my creations. </p>
<p>Without further do, here we go. I ordered tin DVD movie cases from Amazon that you can remove the blue plastic piece in the middle so it becomes an empty tin. Then the decoration process started. I started with the outside decorating the front and back with the same type of paper except the back doesn't have the ribbon on that. Lets take a look...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-5L-HAS_EKrk/UjMYTCo-ASI/AAAAAAAAA0A/HmsaGboU1VE/s765/Photo%252520Sep%25252013%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A21%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-5L-HAS_EKrk/UjMYTCo-ASI/AAAAAAAAA0A/HmsaGboU1VE/s500/Photo%252520Sep%25252013%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A21%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1379080276984.3171" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="653"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"> </div>
<p> Then, I switched to the inside and on the left hand side I covered the side with a coordinating paper and also at the bottom made a small pocket to keep things in.</p>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-FPucKcxqnmk/UjMYUHvYUvI/AAAAAAAAA0I/kMLrnPEXd0Q/s720/Photo%252520Sep%25252013%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A21%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-FPucKcxqnmk/UjMYUHvYUvI/AAAAAAAAA0I/kMLrnPEXd0Q/s500/Photo%252520Sep%25252013%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A21%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1379080277076.454" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="400"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"> </div>
<p> Then I took a pen and decorated the inside of it to match the coordinating paper I had been using.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-i5ThwAXROFY/UjMYU0QDUbI/AAAAAAAAA0Q/lM3CF4Isgo8/s712/Photo%252520Sep%25252013%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A22%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-i5ThwAXROFY/UjMYU0QDUbI/AAAAAAAAA0Q/lM3CF4Isgo8/s500/Photo%252520Sep%25252013%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A22%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1379080277001.165" class="alignnone" width="500" height="232" alt=""></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"> </div>
<p> I am not completely done yet, because I'm still waiting for more product to arrive, but to give you the jest of what it will be, is a notebook on the right hand side with the pen and a larger paper clip decorated. I will keep you updated on the final outcome.</p>
<p>Questions for you.....</p>
<p>1. What type of papers would you like to see being used?</p>
<p>2. How much should I charge for one of these?</p>
<p>3. Any other questions you might have ask away....</p>

Let me tell you they don't always come out right the first time or even the second, but its like when you get bucked off a horse you always get back up on the saddle and do it again. Anyways, I will be the first to say this is by far NOT the best, but this is my first shot and I want to show everyone that practice makes perfect and it doesn't matter if you make mistakes as long as you keep trying. So, now that I became long winded here is what I've created. I will also tell you at the end what I need to change....so without further do...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-fU9v3Nycuv0/UjG24zv9KtI/AAAAAAAAAzo/0keqZ_z5jJ8/s587/Photo%252520Sep%25252011%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525208%25253A25%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank"><img alt="" class="alignnone" height="587" id="blogsy-1378989802828.834" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-fU9v3Nycuv0/UjG24zv9KtI/AAAAAAAAAzo/0keqZ_z5jJ8/s500/Photo%252520Sep%25252011%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525208%25253A25%252520PM.jpg" width="408" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-FuvHGmpPSog/UjG26D_J0FI/AAAAAAAAAzw/eSthp5Ghb5M/s683/Photo%252520Sep%25252011%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525208%25253A26%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank"><img alt="" class="alignnone" height="683" id="blogsy-1378989802872.3562" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-FuvHGmpPSog/UjG26D_J0FI/AAAAAAAAAzw/eSthp5Ghb5M/s500/Photo%252520Sep%25252011%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525208%25253A26%252520PM.jpg" width="477" /></a></div>
<br />
I took a tumbler and attempted to put a saying on it. Things I've learned are:<br />
1. It's hard to center lettering on the cup<br />
2. The font needs to be smaller<br />
3. How to get everything even and not one letter or word taller than another.<br />
4. Determining what fonts work the best.<br />
5. Lastly, doing more research on the vinyl and how to take care of it so when being washed and everyday use it does not fall apart.<br />
I will keep trying and keep you updated!!<br />
Happy Crafting!!!!!<br />

It's still a work in progress, but I seen this along time ago and wanted to try it. It will have a total of 10 templates with 9 of them having pockets on them to insert the number cards. The front card will be the introduction and then the rest will have the numbers. Each number card will have a tab on it to make it easier to pull out the number card. So here is what I have so far. It's just time to put everything together. When it's done and the student opens it up there will be 5 cards in front and then turn it over and 5 cards in back.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dC7P59zej7A/T_ogZNArJII/AAAAAAAAAp0/c-yI2E2S4IE/s1600/IMG_2018.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dC7P59zej7A/T_ogZNArJII/AAAAAAAAAp0/c-yI2E2S4IE/s320/IMG_2018.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
A ribbon will run through to make it easier to fold the cards up so they are in a nice neat pile.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gXdV2BeNir8/T_ogiNKp1KI/AAAAAAAAAp8/ZwGJAGn-3bc/s1600/IMG_2019.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gXdV2BeNir8/T_ogiNKp1KI/AAAAAAAAAp8/ZwGJAGn-3bc/s320/IMG_2019.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Keep watching for updates!</div>

This is the last stamp of the month in the new catalog. If you have come here from <strong><span style="color: #741b47; font-size: large;"><a href="http://annettescreativejourney.blogspot.com/">Annette Green's Blog</a></span></strong> you are on the right path. If you get lost you can click <a href="http://bowlofstamps.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: #cc0000; font-size: small;">here</span> </a>and you will find a list of all the blogs.<br /><br />This stamp of the month is called, "Life is Tweet." We have a lot of wonderful consultants participating this month. <br />
<br />
For this card, I used the Die-Cut Cards and Envelopes (Z1474) for my card base. I haven't been very creative lately so I'm starting to get my back in the swing of things and hope my mojo comes back. LOL For the green and gray circle I cut them out of "Dotty for You" collection and if you haven't got that paper pack yet it's AWESOME!!!!<br />
