Little Reminder Stamp of the Month

It's that time of the month again and we are off to a new Stamp of the Month.  This is the last stamp of the month in the new catalog.  If you have come here from Traci Godbee's blog you are on the right path.  If you get lost you can click here and you will find a list of all the blogs.

This stamp of the month is called, "Little Reminder."  We have a lot of wonderful consultants participating this month.

Since my daughter is going to be turning one, I made a card for when she was first born and we brought her home.  When making cards I'm always trying to find different templates and sometimes it's easier said than done.  One of my neighbors did a template like this, but then I also found it on Pinterest.  All of my stamping supplies I used you will find them on my close to my heart site except the ribbon is just something that I had laying around.  So let's begin.....

This is what it would look like when you got it in the mail.

All CTMH products except the ribbon.
Paperpack: Cherry-O
Ink: Cotton Candy and Black
Stamp Set:  Little Reminder

Now head on over to Cindy Leek's blog to see what she has designed.

Halloween Banner

I've always wanted to make a banner, but never seemed to have time.  So I followed a template and I used different paper then they did and didn't add all the same things and switched some things up.  I couldn't get a picture of it as a whole, so for right now it's in different parts.  Enjoy!

Here is the "S and P"

O and O

and finally the "K and the Y"

All products are Close to my Heart!

October Stamp of the Month

If you have come here from Gina Brandstetter's blog you are on the right track.  Due to my daughter having croup, I have been unable to get a card together.  That is my project for the weekend while she is taking a nap.  Keep on hoping over to Judy Burger's blog. Make sure to stop back and check what I've created.

Hey everyone!!!  I am adding one project that I've been working on before my daughters and son wake up.  This stamp of the month is just adorable with endless ideas.  I decided to try and make an oranment.  I first started out with the Floral Doily Motifs spellbinders to make the base.  Then I cut out a Hexagon Pinwheel Top Box.  This is what I've come up with.

I hope you enjoy!  Everything I used is CTMH except the bells and the spellbinders.  At the top of this page you will be able to find the link to the next blog!  Keep on hopping!!

Baby Card

Hello!  So it's been a long time since I've posted on here and I've been taking a lot of grief from a certain somebody and she knows who she is.  lol  I had to make a baby card for one of my home visit families and I figured this was a good time to post what I did.  This is the first time I've ever done this kind of card so it may not be perfect, but for my first time I think it showed up great!  I hope you enjoy.

This set was a little tricky for me and wasn't a 100% sure on how to go about this one.  I just started playing and came up with a few tags and a Congratulations post card using the grand spellbinders.  I am pretty much in love with my grand spellbinders.  It seems like there is so much you can do with them.  Well....on to the first project.

I really liked how with the way this stamp was set up all you had to do was trim around it to make it the tag shape.

This card was made using the grand spellbinders.

Supplies used: All CTMH and available unless noted

Stamps: Limited Edition
Inks: Black, Chocolate, hollyhock and barn red

Paper: Roxie

Ribbon:  Dark Chocolate and the ribbon used for the post card is not from CTMH.

This stamp set is a lot of fun to play with.  So many different options with the pictures and the different sayings!  At the beginning I had a hard time picking which stamp and saying I wanted to use.  If I wasn't so busy trying to get my classroom together I probably would have put more cards together.

With this stamp set I used the bicycle and the "Just living is not enough..." saying.  I made it into a book style so that the inside could be used put a little special note or something sweet in the envelope.  There is probably more things you could think of to do with the envelope, but that is just a few.  So let's take a look....

The little evelope can fit candy, tea bags, gift card, a little note or I even thought maybe some dried flowers.

All the supplies I used are from Close to My Heart and are available.

Paper: Roxie (X7140B)
Ink:  Brown bag and Cocoa
Accessories: Pearls, Colored Pencils and Blender pen.

Teacher Corner Bookmark!!

As the time get's closer to going back to work I love coming  up with different things to give to my other teachers.  Yesterday, I was working on a corner bookmark while my kids were sleeping and I finished it today.  Not for sure if this will be one of the projects I do, but you never know.  It's always fun to come up with new ideas to give to the teachers.  We all work very hard at what we do.  Now granted they all wonder how in the world do I have time to do this with my two little ones, but I always put my 3 year old to work.  He is in charge of running the tape and granted it may not all be stuck together very well, but it's the thought and he loves helping mommy.

Window Card

I'm in the Summer Card Camp program this summer and granted I haven't had a lot of time to keep up with everything, but I love saving the video's and watching them later for different techniques.  This technique is were you stamp on a piece of clear plastic or what I would say as an over head projecter sheet.  I'm still working with this and the saying isn't 100% what I would want it to look like, but it was my first go at it.  Hope you enjoy!

With doing a window card, it makes it seem that the brads are floating in the window.

Gift Pocket Wallet

Hello!  It's been awhile since I've actually posted a card on my site.  It's been crazy busy this summer with new referrals and going into my classroom to start working in there to only find my cabinets falling off the wall.  I found this neat idea on the Pink Buckaroo Designs blog.  I try and make something little for the teachers even though my husband laughs at me every time I tell him I'm working on a project.  This isn't the exact one that I will give the teachers.  They will have a school theme to them.  This one was my test run and will be sending it to my grandma.  You can find complete directions on the Pink Buckaroo Website!  Lot's of neat ideas!  I'm sure I just spoiled the little treat for one of the teacher's since she checks my blog, but I know she will act surprised anyways!  LOL
