I just love this stamp set and it came at the perfect time for Easter. I used ribbon to attach the inside card stock for a little different look than the normal folding of the card and just working with the outside and inside of the card. I'm hoping to start working more with this stamp set before my maternity leave ends and then I will have more on my blog.

I put the card together by running ribbon out the outside which holds the paper inside of the card to the base of the card.

Spring Time

So okay....we were really spoiled with the weather we had this past week and than the weather hit us with freezing rain, sleet and lots of snow.  I was sure hoping for spring time!  I made a Spring card hoping that it would help bring spring faster.  I think that is my wishful thinking.   The lighting on this card isn't the greatest.  The office doesn't have good lighting and it was too dark outside!

This little card is easily pulled out to add a message to your card!

I'm really happy with the way this card turned out.  I found a pattern on Scor-Pal's website called, "Criss Cross Pocket Card."  I thought it was unique and something I have never done before.  I added a belly band to dress up the outside of the card.  For the inside of the card I made it pretty simple.  I used all the matching papers from the Wings level 2 Paper Packet!  Hope you enjoy!

CTMH Spring/Summer 2011 Blog Hop!

It's that time again- Close to my Heart is releasing a new Idea Book and a group of fabulous consultants are here to give you a sneak peak of some of the fabulous new products! Be sure to check out all the blogs below!

This card is pretty simple and I'm not for sure if I liked how it exactly turned out.  I'm hoping to make more, but I have a 2 week old baby and have not had a lot of time to get out my new stuff and start playing.  Hopefully pretty soon I will get more things posted!
