Personalizing Tumblers

So, I have always wanted to try new crafting ideas and the more I search the web, the more ideas I'm like I have to try that!!!! Let me tell you they don't always come out right the first time or even the second, but its like when you get bucked off a horse you always get back up on the saddle and do it again. Anyways, I will be the first to say this is by far NOT the best, but this is my first shot and I want to show everyone that practice makes perfect and it doesn't matter if you make mistakes as long as you keep trying. So, now that I became long winded here is what I've created. I will also tell you at the end what I need to change....so without further do...

I took a tumbler and attempted to put a saying on it. Things I've learned are:
1. It's hard to center lettering on the cup
2. The font needs to be smaller
3. How to get everything even and not one letter or word taller than another.
4. Determining what fonts work the best.
5. Lastly, doing more research on the vinyl and how to take care of it so when being washed and everyday use it does not fall apart.
I will keep trying and keep you updated!!

Counting Activity

I haven't been very creative again so I'm pulling out a project that I've had for over a year and I'm hoping I can get it done before school starts.  It's still a work in progress, but I seen this along time ago and wanted to try it.  It will have a total of 10 templates with 9 of them having pockets on them to insert the number cards.  The front card will be the introduction and then the rest will have the numbers.  Each number card will have a tab on it to make it easier to pull out the number card.  So here is what I have so far.  It's just time to put everything together.  When it's done and the student opens it up there will be 5 cards in front and then turn it over and 5 cards in back.

A ribbon will run through to make it easier to fold the cards up so they are in a nice neat pile.

Life is Tweet: June Stamp of the Month

For this card, I used the Die-Cut Cards and Envelopes (Z1474) for my card base.  I haven't been very creative lately so I'm starting to get my back in the swing of things and hope my mojo comes back. LOL  For the green and gray circle I cut them out of "Dotty for You" collection and if you haven't got that paper pack yet it's AWESOME!!!!

Few odds and ends

Here are a couple of cards that I made and just haven't had time to put them up on my blog.  The first card is a template I found in a magazine and was working with different coloring techniques for the bear.
