I found this tutorial at Splitcoaststampers and thought I would give it a try. I'm always folding the corner of the pages in my book when I read at night and I thought this was a cute idea. This little bookmark hooks right to the corner of your page. Pretty neat! It was kind of tricky at first making sure the corners were going to line up. I think in the end I liked how it turned out. I used Close to my Heart Stamps and also the paper comes from Close to my Heart. I distressed around the edges to break up the white. I colored the little animal with copic markers. This was my first go around with this and plan to make more.

Howdy Neighbor!
Princess Card
This is my first card making with my new Close to my Heart stamps. I was so excited! I am entering this card in the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge. I used American Crafts paper and of course to color the little girl I used Copic markers! I wanted to put little crowns on the side of the card, but couldn't find the right size crown, so I used pearls instead. I'm very happy with the way this card turned out!

Sending you Sunshine and Hugs
With this card I decided to do a little different than your standard card. I started out with a sheet of card stock that was 12 inches long and cut it so it was 12 x 6. Then I measured about 2.5 inches in on each side of the card to make the flaps. I stamped the saying using Memento Rich Cocoa and I used Memento Black for the girl inside the card. I used Copic markers to color the girl. The stamp came from Sarah Kay. I couldn't decided if I wanted a flower on the outside of the card or if it was to much. Hope you enjoy! Happy Crafting!

Thank You For Everything!
Wow! It's been awhile since I've posted. It's been really busy with work and the end of the year. I made this card for a very special lady that helps out in my classroom a lot. I used a Penny Black stamp and I colored it in with copic markers. I also used distress ink around the end.
Enjoy!
